The Three-Bedroom House 4 had a spacious layout, perfect for gatherings, with a comfortable living area that felt cozy. The location provided a super calm place, surrounded by wildlife.
On our first night, we faced the inconvenience of no heating and no hot water, with reception closing early, leaving us in the cold without guidance. The oven in our lodge was quite disappointing. It took far too long to cook a simple meal, and it emitted smoke, suggesting it could use a thorough cleaning and maintenance. The overall condition of the lodge felt a bit worn, which might detract from a more romantic experience for couples.

We had a lovely time enjoying the hot tub and the log burner, which made our evenings cozy and relaxing. The heated swimming pool was a perfect spot for unwinding after a day of exploring. Everything was great overall, but we did find the oven a bit tricky to use since it didn't heat up well.

Couple's retreat, don't miss it!
The location was just fantastic, loved seeing the wildlife around, the birds chirping, it was like nature was just there with us. Super helpful staff, they went out of their way to make everything smooth, especially when we wanted to use the hot tub, pure bliss!
Not exactly a bargain, but you get what you pay for.

The location was fantastic with lovely wildlife all around to see and hear. Roads are all in a good state, super helpful and pleasant staff. The hot tub and log burner were amazin, and the lodge was really clean and comfy. Size of the lodge was amazin too, with great facilities.
only thing was that it could've had more towels, and the wifi was kinda slow.

A bit of a bummer with no heating on our first night and no wood for the log burner, leaving us a tad chilly.

The open plan design of our lodge was perfect for hanging out. We enjoyed exploring the nearby Chester Racecourse and some amazing hiking trails. The hot tub was spotlessly clean, and I slept really well in the comfy beds.
One issue we faced was the oven. It needed some attention, as it didn't heat well and took a long time to cook meals. This might be inconvenient for those planning to cook much.

It was just a proper fit for a little getaway in Llangollen with best value for money ratio. The oven needed attention and took forever to cook a pizza, but we still enjoyed hanging out together. Make sure to bring your own firewood if you want to use the log burner.
